Biography
Henry was probably a kinsman of John and Hugh Badecok, who were bailiffs of Weymouth in 1358-9 and 1362-3, respectively.2 At Michaelmas 1388, several years after his own occupation of that office, he acted as deputy for one of the then bailiffs during his absence from the town. Badecok appeared as a witness to local deeds in 1384, 1388 and 1393, the latter being the year of his only return to Parliament.3
