Biography
Lunceford witnessed deeds at Rye between 1390 and 1397, and in February 1399 was acting as a churchwarden of the local parish church of St. Mary. Meanwhile, in 1393, it had been alleged that, as mayor, he had falsely imprisoned a man from Hope, Sussex, and so maltreated him at Rye that he almost died. He is not recorded after 1405-6, when he paid a maltolt of 3s.4d.3
