Biography
Buck owned salt-pans at Droitwich, inherited from his mother. Their seat some ten miles away at Kempsey had been in the family for many generations. After some years in Oxford and London he returned to Worcestershire on his marriage, becoming an active magistrate and signing 327 of the 1499 recognizances and orders in the reign of Charles I. His name does not appear in the quarter sessions records after 1637. He sold The Nash and retired to Worcester, where he died in 1648.
