Biography
Seymour was returned through the influence of his father-in-law, leaving no trace upon the records of his first Parliament. Early in 1601 he was brought to the notice of Sir Robert Cecil. He became an Admiralty official and privateer and was a Royalist in the civil war, when he was captured and Berry Pomeroy destroyed. He died on 5 Oct. 1659.
