Biography
The De La Beres, an old Herefordshire family, acquired an estate near Southam by marriage, purchasing the manor in 1609.1 Kinard De La Bere, one of the trustees of his brother-in-law Thomas Stephens,2 was returned for the county as a government supporter with the backing of the Stephens family, but did not stand again. He died 13 Feb. 1735, leaving his property to his nephew William Baghot De La Bere.
