Biography
Descended from John Gulston, one of the prothonotaries of the court of common pleas, who bought Wyddial in 1628, Gulston was a high Tory, a member of the October Club, and a follower of Charles Caesar1 in Hertfordshire politics. Re-elected in 1715, he was unseated on petition the following May, never standing again. He died 11 Mar. 1731.
