Biography
Hanger resigned from the East India Company on the death of his elder brother in 1725. In 1753 he was returned, probably on Lord Romney’s interest, for Maidstone, where he himself had some local connexions. He was classed as a Tory in 1754.
He died 24 Jan. 1773.
