Biography
Distantly related to Sir Charles Kemys, 4th Bt., Kemys came of a family seated at Pertholey since the end of the sixteenth century. Returned as a Tory for Monmouth by the Duke of Beaufort in 1722 and 1727, his only recorded vote was against the Administration on the Hessians in 1730. He did not stand again, dying in 1736.
