Biography
Thomas Lewis was distantly related to John Morgan of Tredegar, to whom he owed his return. Though a Whig, all his recorded votes were against the Government. During the split in the Whig party James Craggs asked Morgan to secure his attendance, especially on the bill for the repeal of the Occasional Conformity and Schism Acts;1 but he voted against the Government both on this measure and on the peerage bill. He did not stand in 1722, dying 29 May 1732.
