Biography
In 1754 Daniel Boone successfully contested Minehead on the interest of Lord Egremont and with the support of Administration. In 1757 his wife was given a secret service pension of £400 a year.1
Boone did not seek re-election in 1761 or subsequently. He died 20 May 1770, aged 60.
